Julio César Arroyo, known also as the Peruvian Santa Claus, visited “Sol Naciente”, a human settlement, bearing gifts for over 1100 kids who would very likely not get a Christmas gift at all.

With no financial support, he started playing Santa in 2004 to bring hope and happiness to children of Peru. “I believe in Christmas, but now the concept has changed. It doesn’t only mean having bread or turkey on the table, it is so much more! It means sharing with those who have much less, give them love and happiness” he said.

Julio Cesar, at 36, has found joy in his life “the greatest satisfaction in life is seeing a young child smile” and that is why he keeps on going with this monumental task: Happiness for the children of Peru.
